You will find, on this site, information about the creation of an "International Association" dedicated to the global dissemination of the works and teachings of Yogacharya Sri B. K. S. Iyengar, the world-famous Yoga Teacher, author of the classic yoga text Light On Yoga (amongst others). Born on 14th December 1918 in Bellur (at that time in the Kolar District, Kingdom of Mysore, but now a part of Karnataka), he died aged 95 on 20 August 2014 in Pune (in Maharashtra State, India).
